Maritime Ports (Portos Marítimos) is responsible for implementing and operating one of the largest private port terminals in Brazil on the left bank of Santos Port (SP). In 2010, Maritime Ports purchased two Rapiscan Eagle High Energy (P60 and T60) cargo and vehicle screening systems to meet the Receita Federal requirement to scan 100% of cargo at their terminal. Raggi-X is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance and service and radiological control of the systems under a multi-year contract that began in 2010.
Raggi-X is able to provide a suite of services to port terminals that include the provision of equipment, operation, image analysis, maintenance, spare parts, integration and training.
TAM Airlines, now part of National & International Air Cargo Carriers, is the largest air carrier in Brazil. Since 2006, Raggi-X has been providing preventive and corrective maintenance service to their portfolio of x-ray scanners throughout Brazil. This includes Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Manaus, Santa Catarina, Brasilia, Recife, Salvador, Belem, and many more locations.
In addition to the maintenance service, Raggi-X provides radiological control of the systems and refurbished spare parts and equipment for the airline. These systems include equipment from a multitude of manufacturers along with Raggi-X sister company Rapiscan Systems.
The largest package couriers in the world have been working with Raggi-X in Brazil since 2009 to make sure their scanning systems in Brazil receive the proper level of preventive and corrective maintenance.
